Wide Bay Australia Ring Road Run
2011 - Current
In 2011 the inaugural Ring Road Run was held. The first event attracted over 800 participants including youth, students, serious runners and families. The event has grown to over 1000 participants and is held on the long weekend in June each year. The Wide Bay Australia Ring Road Run takes advantage of the pristine running foundation along the Bundaberg Ring Road with the start and finish of the race at St Luke’s Anglican School.
The Wide Bay Australia Ring Road Run donates the funds raised to our much needed community-funded service, the RACQ CareFlight Rescue Helicopter and Elliott Heads Surf Live Saving Club and Queensland Cancer Council to help fund vital cancer research and support.
Event Networx is contracted to support the event through sponsorship, media and marketing and road closures.
